Windows update v6

I just went to check for updates and was promted to update WU and it said v6 in the address bar . Its always fun to find something new like this

Edit: Hmm, still getting v5 here. Could manually get v6, but I'd rather not. What I'm waiting for is Microsoft Update, with WU and OfficeUpdate combined.

There's not much to v6 as far as I'm concerned. Does all the stuff that v4 and v5 did.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't all the updates get released on v4 and v5 at the same time? coz it seems like it does with v5 and v6.

you mean http://update.microsoft.com ?
Eventually it will do office and be called Microsoft Update anyway.
