Windows Update Question...

Hey,

Does anyone know what the *driver* AMD K7 Processor is on Windows Update?

I just upgraded to a AthlonXP 1800+ and just finished reinstalling Windows XP. I don't remember seeing this update on Windows Update (it's in the drivers section) before when I was running my 1GHz T-bird.

If someone knows what this update resolves, please reply. I'm curious if I need to install it, or if it'll flake my system out.

I had an update for my petium 3 processor.

i was very cautious but i look on microsots webv site and it resolves some compatibility issues with games and software as far as i could tell

it should be the same sort of thing it sounds like it.

I was hesitant to upgrade it on my athlon xp 2000. it's only 22kb, i notice no difference in anything, but no problems either. been running it for about a month (maybe 1.5? i forget)
