I've just browsed through the Windows Update site to check whether there were any critical updates. I then noticed that instead of the usual '1' new update for drivers there were '2'. I say 'the usual 1' because I have ignored that particular update of my built-in modem since I don't use it at all.
However, I'm really surprised to find that the 2nd update found only today is for the Intel Processor software that is dated January 2002.
Does anyone know if this update is genuine, or a possible mistake in printing of the release date? I haven't seen this particular update for more than 1.5yrs and it's suddenly just popped up.
