windows path

i just installed borland c++ but each time i wanna compile i have to change the PATH manually i went to system properties>advanced>environment variables and added C:\borland\bcc55\bin directory to the list and yet when i try to compile a c++ code (bcc32 c.cpp) bcc32 it doesn't see it i hvae to set it manually PATH=C:\borland\bcc55\bin each time is there a way to not have to do that each time and have the borland added to the path list??

you don't say which OS you are using but in earlier versions of DOS/Windows the path statement has to be placed in AUTOEXEC.BAT

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
