hi there, i'll like to know why windows messenger is programmed to be autologin, even in the background, and even i check 'not load when windows start'.
if i remove the login pass in using run--> userpassword etc.
will it stop it autologin?

Do you use Outlook Express by any chance? There's an option within OE that boots Windows Messenger when you open it.

The only other thing would be to check all methods of start-up (registry etc)

You learn something new ever day. I'll keep that in mind :)

Also there is another option (aside from startup with windows) which says allow to run in background......i think, not used it for a while

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
