Windows Messenger Problem!

Hi! Does someone know how to solve this problem? I have the latest update of windows messenger and when I am trying to sign in with the "sign me in aoutomatically" box checked, I get "service unavaiable" messege and can't connect. I have no problem connecting when the "sign me in automatically" box is unchecked😕 . pleas help!🙁

are you connected to the internet when it is trying to sign you in automatically??

Are you using any type of firewall? Zonealarm has an issue with this...start zonealarm and then try to connect...hope this helps.
