windows messenger and hotmail

so i use the tweak to remove windows messanger from my computer...its gone, for the most part. i've noticed that the icon starts popping back up in my system tray whenever i'm logged in to hotmail and it also removes itself when i log out of hotmail.. anyone know why its doing that?

When you check your hotmail it will show on the main hotmail page any of your contacts that are online. At least I think that is the page, I never pay any attention to it. That may be why the messenger icon is showing when you are on the hotmail site.
