Hi guys ..

One of my client's PC which is running on Windows XP has Windows Media Player 9 installed. He seems to be having some problems when he's trying to listen to the radio stations or something like that.

Is there a way for me to uninstall the current applicaton, and then re-install from a fresh clean setting again please?

Any advise is most appreciated. Thank you.

That wont overwrite anything ;). See the problem with wmp 9.0 is that it cant be uninstalled on XP machines, and that once its their, the wmp installer doesnt overwrite anything because the versions are the exact same.

Before WMP 9 was installed, Windows should have automatically created a restore point. Use that with System Restore and then reinstall the application. Worked for me after WMP 9 wasn't playing about half my music files. A simple restore and re-install fixed it right up! :)
