Windows Media Player 9 (Copying Video)

I just recently d/l'd the WMP9 prog and I was looking @ the pref.s and i found 'Copy Video' Now would this mean that WMP9 can now actually rip DVD's??? If so can sum1 tell me how to because this could be the biggest thing since MP3 because of Microsoft's supposed Corona video technology and compression. Please sum1 write back on how 2 rip some DVD-age on my comp. Thanks, PE@ce
