News Windows Live Wave 4 beta released

After weeks or months of teasing, Microsoft have finally made a beta version of the new Windows Live suite available for download and testing.

I grabbed the english web installer version and without any kind of options it has installed the following seperately:
  • Windows Live Essentials Beta
  • Bing Bar
  • Microsoft Default Manager
  • Windows Live Sync ActiveX Control for Remote Connection
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition [Enu]
  • Windows Live Provider ofr Microsoft Outlook Social Connector
I took the liberty of removing all existing Windows Live applications beforehand, so I don't know how well it deals with upgrades and rebooted after installation.

So what are you thoughts?

Was able to uninstall Writer, Family Safety and Mail afterwards as I just don't use those afterwards.

Very much relieved that there is still a compact version which looks just like the old version just with some slick new bits.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
