SP2 is still beta, so i wouldn't get it.

Although cpugenius is correct, that SP2 is still in beta stages, you could check on IRC. I got my download from irc.winbetas.net, channel #betas-xdcc. There are a lot of bots that have XPSP2.

Seems it wasn't read properly.

I would like to find a link for windows installer.

I added sp1a/sp2 as the installer gets changed by installing these.

Therefore, windows installer, links if I have sp1a or sp2 installed.

I found a dead link for windows installer 3.1 (beta) thats all.

I would furthermore like to add, no worries now as I have rectified the situation.

if you're looking for an installer for the windows installer for windows xp...there isn't one.

microsoft's justification: it already comes with the operating system.
