Windows for Old Games

What is the newest Windows OS that is compatible enough for older DOS-based games?? Windows 95, 98 or ME?
 
Windows 98, unfortunately :(

cos windows ME has no real mode DOS, some games won't play really well.
 
I certanly had no problems w/ 95 playing games such as Privateer II. If you want to run 'em now try creating a dual boot system...
