windows explorer default start

when i open up windows explorer, it always starts with my documents expanded & everything else collapsed. this is really anoying since i hardly ever use my documents. is there a way to make it start with C: expanded instead?

If you want the content of the C drive in the right window just remove the ",select" switch from the command. So that it reads
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n, /e, C:\
Another way to achieve this is to go to your Windows directory and find a file called "explorer" not explorer.exe. Copy this to your desktop or wherever you want it.
