OK, how do u make it so that Windows Explorer will start up with my C drive open? Cuz right now, its always "My Documents" that is always opened. I want it to start in C drive like in Win98

Also, any tips on how to remove the ability to see ZIP files in the left hand side of Windows Explorer?

In the "Target" field of the icon you use to open Explorer, type :
« %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n, /e, /select, C:\ »
(Without the quotes)

Remove the XP and Zip association
Click "Start", click "Run" and type
regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll
and then open up WinZip and let it associate itself with Zips. The association works and the zips don't appear in Explorer.

Dirk, i already did that and it did not work. Thx anyways.

Ill try ur solution now, Ram. thx
