Is there anyway to replace that moving "window flag" in the upper right corner of my browser? It would be nice to see something new once in awhile.. Without downloading entire add-on programs....

Well I know it can be done as I did at one point in time. I had a third party software that did it but I also remember seeing another way to do it with out third party software and now I can't find it. Well I was finally able to find what I was lookin for.

info on how to change the IE flag

I used webblinds it's shareware from the makers of window blinds

Great, thanks I'm looking forward to a change of scenery....
I do like how you can interchange themes with Mozila and have various animated icons... YOU would think that MS will come out with IE 7 with the next OS and have these various options? Maybe...

don't think so...MSN Explorer 8 has what you want but it will cost you money.

This'll get rid of it: throboff.zip
--------------
- will this get rid of the white box as well ??
- any way to restore it back ??

Read the readme.txt in the zip posted by 2zig. The restore files are also included. You can remove the throbber in Windows Explorer, absolutely of no use there, with it, too. I turned it off in Explorer using throboff and changed it in Internet Explorer using Edensoft MyLogo , a smalll program with a nice extra feature. If I want to go to xp-erience.org I simply doubleclick the throbber. (Kind of second homepage you can configure)

How do I save that animated flag so that i can save it as a mouse waiting cursor?

Thanks Yoyo . . nice.
Any tips as how to get it rid from Outlook Express?

Mbunny you must dream about that mozilla at night. How is that browser working for you anyway.. Its gotten excellent reviews everywhere I've looked..

Anybody have a link to various avatars that could be used instead of the waving IE flag..

I was converted =P

I to was once a IE person... but then i learnt about the ways of the Mozilla.

Mozilla is excellent... Nothing matches it in my opinion (heh... slightly biased hehe)

^ - A very useful toolbar for you to add to Mozilla.

Lets you choose to disable popups and javascript et al on the bar rather than going into preferences =)

ummm... I like Mozilla cause it does the stuff the right way. No good getting used to a bad habit.

Hey hippy... my spinny round circle with lights owns the IE Flag hehehe

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
