I am trying to synchronize my Outlook 2002 with my WAB(windows address book). What do I do for my WAB to be the default address book in Outlook 2002?

Don't think you can. I believe you'll have to try to have Outlook import it as a .PAB.

Importing the Outlook Express Address Book is the easy part.
Open Outlook
Click File\Import/Export\Internet Mail and Addresses\Outlook Express 4.x,5
Only tick import Address Book- select allow duplicates to be created. You will then find that they have been imported into Contact.
