What there was no need for is the lame excuses that people were giving as help. You know as well as I do that this place has smart people in it. "Oh it must be your provider, they're blocking you or throttling your connection". Those answers are completely bogus, canned responses to people when they complain of bandwith issues. This whole thread is worthless for the pure fact that no one tried to help and then complained when they were called on it.

If that's true then you know that the responses you gave are bull. He clearly told you that an xp box worked fine on the same connection yet you continued on the "check with your provider blah blah blah" route. If you ask me there's some people on this forum that have a god complex.

everyone when posting is asked to post all the relevant information required to allow one to help them to the best of their ability...

I am sure if the threadstarter had provided the same information that we gathered halfway through the thread they would have perhaps received different information than what was given...

also... I have seen you go ahead and provide a commentary about how retarded so and so person was w/o actually providing any help yourself... IF you are to give a commentary on the validity of someone else's response... please go ahead and provide alternate information that is likely to HELP somoene rather than add fuel to a potential fire...

as far as the god complex comment... you are right... some people do have a god complex but I think you may be mistaken as far as who these people really are...
