Windows 2000 Update error

I have recently gone back to using Windows 2000 Professional after being non too impressed by XP. I have since installed Service Pack 3, but whenever I try and download Windows Updates that I have selected I get the following error message "Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page, error (0x800A138F)". I have also got 2k Pro on my laptop with SP3 installed, and Windows Updates download fine on that.

Has anybody else experienced a similar problem? Or does anybody know how to fix it.

Thanks

Fixed it. I believe some people are having the same problems with XP Windows Update as well, so if you are here is the fix. Navigate to C:\Winnt\System32\iuctl.dll, and delete the iuctl.dll file. Restart Windows Update and the problem should be fixed.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
