WindowBlinds Vs. StyleXP

Windowblinds s a resource hog - I'm a resource conservation freak .. So I use StyleXP..

If there was some way to convert WB themes to Style XP themes I would be happy ..

I am using WindowBlinds on one user account, Patch XP on another and on that account that I really use daily there is a highly customizable, clear and functional theme called "Windows classic". ;)

I like stylexp, or patchxp because they use msstyles which IMO should work better on windows then any proprietary software themes.

....so...Windowblind has a lot windows classic than Stylexp.

Whats PatchXP?

I just installed StyleXP, but can't use it because of SP1... any way round this? Maybe thats what PatchXP is for??

I use Patch Xp . I also have Windowblinds but I don't like it :huh:

WindowBlinds = Bloated
PatchXP = Bloated
My Themes = Disabled Completly :p

Windows Blinds = the worst, very bloated and slow

Style XP = better than Windows Blinds, but still bloated

Patch XP = best, because there is no actualy 'program' that you need, all it does is patch the uxtheme.dll file, the file that winxp uses to use visual styles, so this is the best in my opinion.

PatchXP is not a patch for StyleXP. If you want to give 'the patch' a go remove stylexp & any other theming program first. Once patched click the msstyle file & you should be able to figure it out from there, if it is not a self installer.

PatchXP is my favorite: No program to install and nothing needs to run all the time, therefore no resources lost. :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
