winamp skips

ok i downloaded the newest version of the full winamp (not the beta) and i installed it but every once and a wile it skips when playing an mp3,

my sys is:
amd 1ghz
896mb sdram
30gb 5400rpm samsung
40gb 5400rpm samsung
creative audigy x gamer
gforce 2 mx 200 64mb


any help would be nice because it is annoying and it is only with winamp and i dont like to use MP7

Yeah...also depends on what else your doing at the time...if it's during heavy CPU load then it will do that...
