Winamp problem

Hi all,

I was going to post this on the previous thread but didn't want to highjack it!!!!


My problem is a little different, when I play mp3 files with winamp or any other player, [tried 3].

I get a scratching/distorted type of sound, but when I use the vizulisation effects it stops, this only happens with mp3 files when I play a CD its crystal clear.


My sound card is a soundblaster live 1024, I have installed all the latest codec's.

Any help much appreciated
