I've been using winamp 5.01 for a while now. Buit yesterday when I went to use it, it started crashing. IT crashes when I either close it, or try to load a directory first. If I click load file, cancel, then load folder it works. It also crashes when I try to play a song.

When it crashes, it goes to the "Winamp has encounter a problem and needs to close. blah blah blah", it says the ntdll.dll file is causing the crash. I tried to copy the file from ..\windows\servicepackfiles\i386.ntdll.dll to ..\windows\system32\ntdll.dll but it won't let me as it is in use.

anyway to fix this?

*edit*
ok, if I close it, it says ntdll.dll is causing the error. If I play a song, it says gen_nl.dll is causeing the error

Have you got any plugins or anything of that ilk installed?
I had a problem with them crashing it before, but uninstalling them fixed it.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
