Winamp 3.0 or 2.81 with enhancer

I have been deciding wether or not to put winamp V3.0 or keep me 2.81 version with this enhancer ... http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/detail.jhtml?componentId=81361

I know version 3.0 has been out for a while but I have heard lots of reports that winamp verison 3.0 has bugs and runs slugish?? Is this true ??

The enhancer that I have got on me current version of winamp 2.81 is absolutly outstanding and improves sound quality 10 fold, especially with me Hercules XPS510 5.1 souround sound and SB Live DE 5.1 sound card.

I recomend that you try the enhancer if you still use winamp 2.8x

But which one is better ?

I personally stick to Winamp 2.8 since Winamp 3 takes MUCH longer to load, and takes up much more memory as well.

There doesn't seem to be a difference in sound quality between 2.8 and 3.0
Winamp 3.0 allows you to play video files, but I just use Media Player with the DivX codec.

Oh, and thanks for the link to the enhancer. I'll give it a try soon
