win98 fdisk

Is it possible to put fdisk on a recordable cd to reinstall win98, rather than a floppy disk.

Yes, you can put almost any program on a CD.

However, the real question is if your computer will allow you to boot from a CD.

It's been a while and I am sure some other member knows this off the top of their head, but....there is a way to burn the CD so that it is bootable and then just add all the utils (fdisk) and software (w98) that you need.

In theory you could customize a cd that you can boot from, thown in fdisk, and put WinXX on there as well for your reinstallation pleasure.

Hope this helps. :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
