win xp uninstall

I have xp on c: on ntfs and and xp on d: on fat32. I want to remove
the instalation on partition d: with formating, but I'dont know if
there are any files remaining on c: that I can safelly remove. I will
edit boot.ini manually. Is there something else I should look for?

Did you install on the C: partition first? If so, you should be good to go.
