Win XP Second Edition

Has anyone heard when Win XP SE is going to be released?

Either at the end of 2003 or mid 2004. It will NOT be so far an upgrade to XP. You would have to buy it all over again and either clean install it, or remove XP from your system.
SP-1 due out soon will be all we get.

I would like to knoe where you come up with this. It has been reported on many credible news sites to look for it in early 2003.

Most places I read things are Cnet, PCWORLD, TechTV and ZDNET and others. Depending on the age of the news articles XP SE will be released in 2003 which also depends on the final ruling in the anti trust case. For example, if the judge rules that IE has to be separated or something....expect it later than sooner. Doubtful but if the judge rules that Windows has to be shipped without Media Player, IE etc integrated, then Bill Gates has sworn to take Windows off the market in court, under oath.
