i just got a copy of windows server 2003 standard but it wont boot from dos, i am currently using winXP and want to format the hdd then do a clean install of 2003 i am on the NTFS file system any ideas why it wont work or how i can get around it

Right, you should be able to boot from the CD and then format the HD from inside the Win2003 installation/setup. In doing so, it will warn you that you're formatting a partition that already includes an existing version of windows, just tell it ok and go on with it. Otherwise, it will try and install 2003 server in a dual boot configuration.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
