ok i have a set of win 95 upgrade diskettes for win 3.1 . and i want to make a backup copy of these. but i can not do such a thing because for some reason the disks are special in being that they can hole 1.70mb instead of the normal 1.44. is there anything i can do to make this work?

hi and welcome at ntfs.org

copy all the diskettes to your hdd, make folders like disk1 ,2 ,3 ,...
then burn all these folders on cd. and when you need them and the upgrade starts asking for disk2 just direct it to the folder

thanks, but actually i need them on floppy not cd

There is a program going around (Idid have it at one stage) that gave floppies a greater capacity. I think that is what you need. I'll try doing a search & see what it turns up.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
