wierd msn prob

my friend and i have a wierd msn prob. we cant send files to each other, well, very slow...

both have broadband and i can recive and send files very quick to other msn users but not to him.

any thoughts?

what windows are you running, and what is he running?

How are you and your friend connected to MSN? If either of you are connected via proxy or via a secure connection, that would cause that kind of problem. Otherwise, try upgrading to the latest version.

One of you might be behind a firewall...such as a hardware router...specifically Linksys.
Linksys is known to not have the greatest liking with IM clients and sending files.

xp and behind a zonelarm firewall and dlink router... but its only to him i cant send files and i got all the ****.. 0,5mbit internet
