We have four machines at home. All connected to a switch and getting out on the net using ICS on my machine.
When I'm playing online I right click the LAN icon and disable it so the kids/wife dont eat all the bandwidth. When I'm finished I enable it.
Quite often after this the other machine just cant get back on the net. If you do a right click/repair the it may work. Otherwise you have to set it up all over again.
Why does this happen and has anybody got any better ways of disabling the network. ( Dont say pull the plug, the switch is a pain in the rear to get to as is the back of my machine )
