maybe you have a digital camera? Use that if possible.

thats a great idea, I'll get my roommate's camera when he gets home tomight and take a pic...i scanned it again placing it on a glass surface, came out a bit better i think check it out

That is alot better but still a bit blurred :-/ Try and get a more focused one.

@bootsy, try replacing the space in the .jpg filename with a _

its very hard to get a clean edge (no clutter or uneven edges) without a template, you can slowly remove the bad stuff but itll take some time
