on monday the 6th september BT will at last be lifting the limit for 512k in England, so anyone in theory can get it, also anyone with 512k will be able to 1mb as the range for that is incresed


who's gona get it?


i have 512k wanadoo, for a £20 fee i can upgrade to 1mb, with a 30GB cap coming into force sometime next year i think i will be doing it, dont see me going over 30gb

Heny that corner shop you work for have released a broadband package for £19.97 512k free modem first 30 days free tech support and unlimited downloads, I will have to wait 4 more months before getting them as my contract with aol finishes on boxing day.

it's around £35 for the off-peak service... otherwise i think it's like £70+ for anytime.

I upgraded to I meg a few weeks ago, does not seem any different to 500k unless you download from ms or similar but as was only a few pounds more than the old connection (due to price drop) thought I’d give it a try.

My NTL broadband was supposed to go up from 150k to 300k at no extra cost this month,I've just checked on their website and our area's been put back till October

Hey I've had no problem's with NTL for a longtime now (fingers crossed)
My mate on the next estate from me got their upgrade in August ,as is always the way I'm last
