Whole sites blocked by KPF?

Hello,

I would be grateful, if someone could please explain why .......when searching the web in google, and on selecting a site to view, I occasionally get the message "Ad blocked here by KPF", for the whole site.

It can understand why individual adverts are blocked in the sites, but not whole web sites.

O/S ...........Windows xp home
firewall.......Sunbelt Kerio Firewall
Anti virus ...AVG Free edition

KPF or "Kerio Personal Firewall" is blocking the websites, check the configuration settings for your firewall.

Hi Harry, welcome to the community.
There is a filter setting in the firewall that blocks adverts this is usually to remove the floating ads that come on certain websites, but it also blocks adverts embedded in websites.

Have been into kerio configuration, Ad blocking,..... and disabled the web filtering.....dont know if that will make any difference.

I'm hoping it will still block the floating adverts but will allow the web sites to open.
