Hello Gentlemens (and ladies ofcourse),

I' m dutch so i try to make it clear in english but I can't gaurantee anything... sorry for that..

I'm searching for a way to make a webbased client program that get's data from a database at a webserver and show it at my computer. A sort of program to view what's going on at a forum. Can anybody help me to design something like this or tell me which language (xml, vb, xhtml, php) it can be made of?
