who likes dream theater?

Ive always been a large fan of Metallica and recently I was turned on Dream Theater by a friend, and wow.... they rock! Anyone seen them in concert?

My younger brother is a huge fan and has seen them live a couple of times. I am past the hard-rock stage to the point where I can't really listen to them consistently, but I do recognize that they are a grouping of very talented musicians. 🙂

Me loves Dream Theater. Even though I think they past their peak. Their new record is the best since 1998. I have seen them live many times. As a matter of fact have tickets to go see them on april 1.

Let me also suggest you check out King's X.

Ya i have both of those cd's... i think the songwriting is kinda weak, but the musicians themselves are all amazing... the improv (3 minute warning) proves it.

yeah, those cd's weren't about songwriting. They all have side projects. They were about all out shredding.
