I ordered a refurbished A7N8X from newegg a little while ago, and it came with absolutely nothing in terms of documentation. My order history from newegg tells me this:

13-131-455R MB NFORCE2 A7N8X-UAY 400Mhz ASUS RT

Although from this information I'm still not sure which of these mobo's it is (my only options at Asus):

nVidia nForce2-ST A7N8X Deluxe
nVidia nForce2-S A7N8X
nVidia nForce2-400 A7N8X-X
nVidia nForce2 IGP A7N8X-VM

Here is what Aida32 has to say:

Motherboard Properties
Motherboard ID 10/06/2003-nVidia-nForce-A7N8X2.0C-00
Motherboard Name Asus A7N8X v2.0

Front Side Bus Properties
Bus Type DEC Alpha EV6
Bus Width 64-bit
Real Clock 133 MHz (DDR)
Effective Clock 267 MHz
Bandwidth 2133 MB/s

Chipset Bus Properties
Bus Type HyperTransport v1.0
Bus Width 8-bit

Motherboard Physical Info
CPU Sockets/Slots 1
Expansion Slots 5 PCI, 1 AGP Pro
RAM Slots 3 DIMM
Form Factor ATX
Motherboard Size 240 mm x 300 mm
Motherboard Chipset nForce2-U400
Extra Features Q-Fan, CPU Overheating Protection

Sigh, basically I want to know what the maximum memory and cpu this sucker can take (i'm looking at a 3000 barton with a 400FSB)

I dont know if the 400 in the order history corresponds with the FSB or with a ram max ddr3200 @400

Any help would be appreciated. A link to this mobo's proper specs page would be awesome

Yeah teddy that might be it! It has the same category ID as in my order history too.. I dont think its the deluxe model however...I dont think mine has raid or the soundstorm or sata...

So I guess its just a standard A7N8X, but the good news is I can get that 3000 barton with 400fsb =)

Good job teddy, I didnt think to look up that id on newegg.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
