is it format /mbr or fdisk/mbr or both.....which one is better or are they both the same command...:rolleyes:
 
fdisk /mbr will erase the master boot record.

I don't think format /mbr even exists :)
 
Fdisk/mbr and then it is possible to do a format c: after that to prepare the drive for a clean installation....it seems also that by doing fdisk/mbr it cleans the Master Boot Record of any viruses if there's any.

I was looking for more informations on that, thanks for your help and feel free to give me any clues that you may have on that :p
