Which ADSL modem

Which ADSL modem will prove the most effective in cost and function. The choice appears to be between PCI, USB, or an ethenet.
It would only be for home use.

Most tend to be external USB modems but the PCI modems are OK to from what ive seen. Its normally better to go external IMO.

I've been recommended a PCI modem for when I get DSL in june, so thats what I'll be getting.

I think they're all good though, gone are the days of dial-up where-by internal/external makes a huge difference

If you've got a spare PCI slot, get a PCI, if you've got a spare USB port, get a USB and if you have a spare ethernet port, get an ethernet
