Wheres the boot info?

In Win 9x, you could bypass the logon screens using the Esc key and view booting and system info as windows loaded. Is there a way to do this for XP?
 
If u remove the user password and all users but one the login will dissapear

Thanks for getting back so quickly. But I am the only user and do not have a password assigned for logging on.
 
I think you mean the bootscreen instead of the logonscreen? :confused:

If thats the case, you can disable it by going to start/run (or Windows-key R) and type msconfig

in that application under the section boot.ini you can enable '/NOGUIBOOT'

NOTE - This will also disable any error messages from appearing while loading Windows, e.g. if a Hardware device causes a STOP error you will not be able to see what is causing i
