Where To Buy Site

I have always had problems finding where to buy things around my area, if the usual stores don't have it.
I was wondering if there is some kind of site that lets you choose your location, and what your looking for, and then gives places where it is avaiable to buy.

If anybody knows of such a site, or something towards this please post.

I already tryed that, it's too hard. I want something where you type in the location and product, and it tells you where you can get it.

Is this avaiable?

I would think that would involve a system/service that has access to inventory for all local stores, which I would believe is not yet available.

I assume you are opposed to searching google for the best price, and then having it shipped?

What specifically are you looking for item-wise?
