Where have all the LEDs gone?

Alright, so I've got Dell Dimension 4100 that'll be 2 years old this October. I'm considering doing a major upgrade: new motherboard, stick of 512 DDR, and a Pentium 4 at 2.4 GHz. I was measuring my old one the other day, and I didn't see any LEDs. I thought that maybe they could have been under the tunnel that directs the processor's heat out the back, but I couldn't be for certain. I didn't see any wires going to it or anything. But, I did notice this thing that was connected to the motherboard right by the ATX socket. It looked like it could have been a molex connector, but it had mainly blue wires (I think). I was thinking maybe Dell makes their LEDs into a little plug-in like that instead of doing it the old fashioned way? Anyone know if this is true, or if they're just under the air tunnel? Lemme know, the help is much appreciated.

You might as well get a new case, seeing as how you're going to have to upgrade that power supply to use your new P4.

I was referring to wattage. I wouldn't want to run a 2.0 ghz p4 with a 250 watt power supply. Plus, you could get a cooler looking case than those dells. I wouldn't trust any adapters, but that's just me.

The extra 4 pins are dedicated power to the CPU... P4's require more power to run, so they had to introduce the new standard...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
