Where did my RAM go!!!???

i have installed in my computer 393 MB RAM.....but i want to know where did that go...want to know how is distributed in my computer, like how much for video, or else...to know the especific amount of it assigned to diferent components of my computer..........

unless you're using a shared video memory architecture, none of it is used for video ram(unless u allow textures to be buffered into system ram)...basically all yer ram is devoted to the Operating System and any services and programs u run....and how did u get 393 MB? is that possible?

thats 383..sorry, three 128 MB sticks....and just because i want to know why in my properties windows it says 320 MB but i know is 383 MB

that´s why i´m making this question...........WHERE DID MY RAM GO???........because some RAM get lost and another RAM appears out of the sudden......so, how can i know how much is assigned to my system......

please post your system specs including motherboard chipset info.

Could be he has some BAD Ram. I had that happen to a chip once.
