Whats the best popup blocker/stopper out there?

I've recently gotten very annoyed with popups, so I was wondering if there was a popup blocker out there. Also I recall there was one out there that let you download updates from a site that automatically updated the list of popups to block.

Free Surfer this is a nice one, it's free and so far no pop-ups as for the best I don't know about that but it is at the right price

I think the best way of stopping pop-ups is by modifying the host file with the sites you want to block. Or you can just download a modified one here...

Here is a really good one. It's not the latest version... I don't like the latest one because it doesn't block everything like the older one does. If you want to let a pop-up window open you just have to press ctrl or shift when you click the link.

Thanks for all the responses, I'm going to use the host file setup because I'm trying it right now and it seems to work. Sweet no more popups for me .
