I am getting my girlfriend a computer for christmas which is a whiles away, but I was wondering would it be better to build her a new system, or just order new parts for my own system (2000xP) and give her my old stuff. She really won't know the difference. what else can I get for myself though ??? Or is it just better to save the 200 $ and get her like a 1900 with a motherboard with everything on board... ?

either way do what you think is right... personally I would save the 200 bucks and take her out after giving her the 'new' computer

Heh, personally I wouldn't buy my shelia a computer, but then that's me, and if I did I'd give HER the new one, or else you would be re-gifting, which is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil!
