Evenin',
I've got XP Home, I managed to bugger it up.
I managed to reset it with the recovery disk.
I now have a folder 'Backup' on the C:\ drive.
How do I get all my old settings/programs back? I've heard about NTBackup, but sadly I didn't get the installation disk with the PC!
I've tried to files and settings wizard thingy....no joy there!
Luckily, I've only had this PC for a short time, so there really wasn't anything too important on it (still in the mucking about with it stage) So would it be easier just to delete this folder and start afresh.
I'd also set up myself as admin, and had another user setting for anyone else that wanted to use my PC. I also can't get into Documents and Settings, for my profile, as it tells me that access is denied! So how would I go about getting into this?
All help and suggestions greatly appreciated.
And I promise not to break it again
