Its your hibernation file, when you put your computer into hibernation it stores all information held in RAM to this file. So that when it awakes from hibernation all information is placed back in RAM and your up and running as though nothing happened.

Disable hibernation & suspend and just set your hd & monitor to power down after a period of time. Much better for your system.
