what is this in my msconfig startup tab?

When I check the startup tab in the system configuration utility, there is an item called "Test." The command is also "Test" and the location is HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run What is this item, and should I disable it?

Sure, go ahead and disable it. Then in a day or two of there are no ill effects, go to that location in the registry and delete it completely.

Yup Do as Allan says and just disable it.

but if you get curious look for a program called test on your computer...and did you ever make a program called test since it's just doing a run command to run test.something or other
