what is this file

i found these files in c\my \docs\localsettings\temp
OOOOOOC6-this file is 1.32 GB.
other ones that end with c5,c7 etc.there is no info within the files properties.are they safe to delete.do they perhaps have something to do with system restore

Any files in your temp folder after you reboot are safe to delete.

that was fast.i will try & delete one & see what happens.no clue off hand what a 1.32GB file sitting in that folder would be?

For future reference:

1) Any files in your Temp folder(s) are safe to delete. Just reboot first in case they are needed to complete the installation of a program.

2) If you aren't sure if a file is safe to delete, just move it to another folder for a couple of days. If nothing bad happens, delete it.

Was there an extension on those files or was it the c6 c7 etc?

there are no extensions on the files just c6,c7 etc.
i did a search in the registry and the 000000c6 file has something to do with google?
