What is the difference between?

What is the difference between a: NMB keyboard an an ALPS keyboard.

Is it that one uses Mechanical Switches and the other doesn't? Or is there more?

not sure of the technical differences.. NMB and ALPS are manufactures.. and really, their model lines will probably have different technical differences anyway within the same manufacturer..

The model lines will also probably have slightly different feels (and sounds) when typed. I believe NMB is made in Thai made and ALPS are made in China.. (note, this is manufactured location, not company location).

You could also get a Chicony keyboard as well..
