What is the best wireless router?

Yeah, the WRT54G is only a router, I actually had an (unfortunately expensive) external/ethernet DSL modem before upgrading my router, so didn't go for the modem/router combination.

I know the router/modem sean (thekore) has recommended is supposed to be quite good, and again, should be available for a nice price

yeah - got me thinking about moving from b to g now that I have a 1Mbps line.... then again I want to build me an AMD64 first, that is probably next in line - but also some CAT5 runs so that server is located to a landing, then I want to get clever and use my old b WAP as a repeater to boost part of signal...

D-Link versus Linksys

D-Link DI-624 might be 624+ for outside the US but 802.11g with speed at 108 instead of 54, have used this and have not had one problem like I have with every linksys router I've configured. They are selling all in one products with dsl or cable modem/router/gateway/wireless gateway in one piece of hardware and they are awesome...and the one that I used oddly enough was the first linksys networking hardware component that I have not had one problem with
